Hutchinson Driveway
A resident living in the Killbuck-Mud Creek Watershed wished to reduce the amount of runoff her and her family was contributing to the Creek. It was decided that one of the best ways to do this was to replace their old driveway with a porous one. This material would allow the water to flow through the driveway into the ground instead of over it into the street.

C2 Products out of Noblesville, Indiana installed the surface which is like a normal impervious surface when it comes to snow removal. The only difference in maintenance is that this type of surface must be swept clean often to prevent smaller particles from clogging it. Despite this the homeowners are happy with their new driveway and the small amount of maintenance is worth doing their part to improve water quality.
